The Blue
and Gold Scholarship is open to all Hackensack High School students who:
Plan to pursue a course in a technical, vocational or college curriculum
Have an overall C average
Do not qualify for
EOF/EOP
Show financial need
Application Process
The scholarship is announced to HHS students by their Guidance Counselors.
Students apply for the scholarship by filling out an application which is available in the High School Guidance Office.
Along with the application students must submit the following:

Essay describing their reasons for wanting and
needing the scholarship

An official transcript
-
One letter of recommendation from school
-
One letter of recommendation from another
source, not a relative
Applications and supporting material
are submitted to the Guidance
Office
Scholarship Committee reviews applications and chooses recipients
